A valid passport and visa are required for business travel to Afghanistan.

Passport Requirements: Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Afghanistan, with at least one blank visa page available for Afghanistan visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Afghanistan visas.
Los Angeles: The passport must have two blank visa pages face to face.

Business Letter:
Letter from employer or sponsoring company in the US, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, clearly stating the purpose of visit to Afghanistan, and requesting the Afghanistan visa. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant while in Afghanistan and must provide detailed contact information in Afghanistan.

Special Instructions: Applicants presenting approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan may receive a multiple entry Afghanistan visa. In all other cases single entry Afghanistan visas are granted.
